This drawing assignment had two layers: the bottom had the skeleton drawn on paper, while the top had the corresponding musculature drawn out on semi-transparent vellum.

Mr. Bones resided in the Life Drawing classroom.

One day in Life Drawing we didn't have a model, so class members took turns modeling for each other, 30 minutes at a time.

Daniel was a good artist, and at the time was doing a lot with engraving. I remember thinking some of his pieces were quite skilled.

This one probably took about a half-hour.

I remember this particular model did not look healthy or well to me.
